What is an end of life doula?
End of life doulas support the dying and their loved ones by providing affirming, caring, non-medical support to carry out your needs and wishes in a tender time. EOL doulas help to bridge the gaps between family (or lack of family), hospice, funeral planning, and other logistics to be addressed at end of life, like a best friend who is an expert in walking you through EOL needs in the most supportive way possible.
General Doula Services
$65/hr or $55/hr for packages of 4+ hours
General EOL doula services can include, but are not limited to: support with filling out paperwork, such as Advance Directives & Power of Attorney; respite for caregivers; taking clients to and from appointments; help in completing an “end of life review”; ascertaining wishes for body care and disposition; support in funeral planning; providing a vetted referral network, including estate attorneys, grief counselors, massage and body work, funeral directors, green burial services, interfaith ministers, and more.
Grief Support and 1:1 Energy Medicine
$175 / 90 minute session
Megan, Summer and Clare offer a diverse array of supportive modalities aimed at nourishing the nervous system. Sessions can be customized from offerings including somatic grief support, energy work and shamanic journeying, herbal medicine and flower essences, and more.
Home Funeral Education
$2500
It is legal and medically safe to have home funerals in North Carolina. This package is for those interested in guidance and support in body care and vigil-tending from the last breath to the final resting place. Includes guidance in washing and anointing, clothing, ice changes, and home funeral planning. Includes rental of reusable Techni Ice and massage table.
